Help with Honeywell 7-Day Programmable Thermostat - RTH7600D Installation

Any help would be appreciated. I installed a Honeywell 7-Day Programmable Thermostat - RTH7600D yesterday. All of the wiring and labels lined up from my old thermostat (about 20 years old) with no problem. Got everything installed and everything works, except the heat.

I've got a heat pump (carrier, not sure of the model, again about 20 years old).

I can switch on the fan, but it just blows cold air. The thermostat say "Heat On" but no heat is coming out and the heating unit is not on. Everything worked fine before hand.

Any ideas as to what I did wrong?

You must configure your new stat for heat pump operation. Set option 170 to 7.

Color codes vary...
