Honeywell to Trane Thermostat Conversion Delema

First let me say that I dont consider myself a stoopid man but I need some help converting my thermostat from a Honeywell to a Trane. The Honeywell I am replacing is a T874G1246. This unit has worked fine for too many years and it is ready for an upgrade. The unit I am going to replace it with is a Trane TCONT600AF11MA.

So my delema is I looked at the wiring for the Honeywell and it looks like this ...

Honeywell T874G Installation Instructions For The Trained Service Technician (Page 4 of 12) ...
The Trane looks like this ...

Trane TCONT600AF11MA Programmable Comfort Control PDF - edoqs

Now this is the first time I have tried to do this so any help figuring out which wires go where would be an immense help.

Welcome to the forums.

You need to post here what color wires are currently connected to what terminals on the Honeywell thermostat.

Like:

red > R
white > W
green > G
etc......

We are going to need a bit more info.

What is your HP make and model? I am guessing you have a heat pump?

Also, what's your air handler/furnace info as well?

The new t-stat you got will not work with your system. This stat will work with a non-back up heat system, and you have that.

I'd suggest the Honeywell FocusPro TH5220

This is a good non-programable t-stat for HP system.
