Nest Gen 2 with Carrier Performance 96 Dehum wiring

I have a Carrier Performance 96 (58UVB) and a nest gen 2 thermostat. I just ran new wire to the Nest (4 to 8) so I could utilize a C wire and 2 Stage from the nest instead of the Furnace. I wanted to utilize the Dehumidify function on the furnace but was told by the Nest website I need a pro setup when I tried to include the wire. I really don't want to spend over $100 to have someone connect a wire that is already there and input some settings on the Nest/Furnace. Has anyone done this themselves? What settings would i need to input on the Nest that they don't trust me with? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, wire * to the DHUM.

I don't know this for a fact, but from what I've read eles where, the nest does not stage up and down.. It will up stage, stays there then shuts down the equipment.

Yea the nest will let u go in pro setup but u just have to know what ur doing it not just a guided setup. You can chose what each wire is. Post up questions i just took the nest down and replaced it with a honeywell so im kinda familer with it. I didnt like the way it controls comfort like jay said. It ends up on stage two and instead of throttle back to stage one it will just cut the whole unit off and im not a fan of that.
