Help with thermostat install

I am replacing an old thermostat with a hunter programmable one. The wires on the old one were:

White-W2
Blue-X
Orange-O
Brown-E
Green-G
Yellow-Y
Red-R

My choices on the new one are:
Rh
Rc
Y
G
W
O
B
W2
Y2
A

Can anybody tell me what wire goes where. The instructions that came with it don't make sense. The old thermostat is an Armstrong air LR69071. New one is a hunter 44133. Heat/AC unit is a Trane Weathertron model WCC018F100BE.
Really appreciate the help.

Hunter Fan - Ceiling Fans, Air Purifiers, Humidifiers, Thermostats
Remove power to the indoor unit before replacing this stat.
Rh & Rc = red
Y = yellow
G = green
W
O = orange
B
W2 = white
Y2
A
C = blue (tape off this wire if it is not present)

* The common wire C and system monitor wire L may or
may not be present.

I'm not a fan of Hunter thermostats. Honeywell is the preferred thermostat of most professionals in this trade.

couldn't find one

Couldn't find a Honeywell stat at menards for a dual stage heat pump. Hunter was the only brand they had for that type of system.

That didn't help.

Your suggestion didn't help me. I tried hooking up the wires as you said but it did not work. I don't have a "C" port to put a blue wire in.

Any other suggestions?

Did you remember to turn off power to the indoor unit before replacing your stat?

IF that blue wire (common) touches the red wire your low voltage fuse or transformer in the indoor unit will be damaged.

Digital stats will have a 5 minute delay when starting the cool mode.

Does the fan run if you twist the green wire (fan) with the red wire (power)
