Nest Thermostat no Power to Y1

i recently installed a Nest thermostat and it worked fine for 3 days at which point it lost power to the Rh I called nest and they had me disconnect the Y1 wire and i regained power to Rh and they told me i needed a common C which i had installed now i am no longer getting power to the Y1. current wiring is Rh, W1, C, G, Y1.

Is common provided by your cooling transformer?

turns out there is excessive resistance in the base plate. getting 26v across the wires not plugged in and 14v when plugged into the base.
