I live in Mexico and have a burned-out Honeywell DT 70 F012ET thermostat. I want to replace is with a new RTH6350/6450. The problem is that the wiring diagram on the back of the old one uses different coding than the new one. Additionally, I can't count on the color of the wires here in Mexico to provide any guidance. The wiring on the old one is as follows: 1 and 2 with an unused plug between them (they both had black wires). 3 was also marked N.O and had a white wire connected. 4 was also marked N.O. and had no wire attached. # 5, 6, and 7 (also L, M, H....low, medium, high fan?) had red wires attached. How does this translate to normal wiring codes?

I'm trying to tweak my RTH7600. I understand the 240 "cycles per hour" setting. What I don't understand is the "170" setting. How does the thermostat behave based on this setting? I have a hydronic system ("hot water" boiler). What does the thermostat do differently on this setting from other settings? Thanks!
