Welcome to the forums.

On the new thermostat you go by the bottom designations since you have a heat pump system.
The orange wire belongs on the O/B terminal. You need to set the thermostat to a heat pump system.

I believe the other wires are correct and you can just tape the blue wire off.
Your model number isn't complete but I'm assuming you have electric re-heat coils.

The forum pros will stop by and give you a hand fine tuning your settings.

Your new thermostat will work with your system. Connect the orange wire to the O/B terminal and connect the white wire to the aux /E terminal.

configure the thermostat for heat pump with auxiliary heat.

Connect blue and white to the Aux/E terminal.
Tape off the brown wire since your new stat doesn't support common and runs off of batteries.

Configure for heat pump with Aux heat.
(1 = 5)

Verify that the O/B terminal is configure to be O (energize reversing valve to cool).
(2 = 0)

Thanks so much. Will give it a try tomorrow.
Just wondering, could the brown wire you said to tape off, could I just put it in the Not Used terminal or just tape it off?

No.... that wire cannot be connected anywhere to that thermostat without causing a short.
Just tape it off and tuck it in the wall.
