some help needed.....

So the old thermostat only has two wires going directly to the primary control in the basement. I ran a 5 wire down to the furnace, now before i hook it i want to make sure im set.
So my furnace transformer has R C Y G W
the picture on my schematic shows Y G Rc W Rh for the thermostat.

On the diagram it shows W and Rh connected directly to the primary control.
Is this diagram just outdated?
I was going to R to R(which shows Rc on my diagram; G to G, Y to Y; and then W and the other R to the control? Thats where I get confused
Thanks

Do you have an air conditioning system that was added after the oil fired furnace ?

If that schematic diagram in the next post up is what you have...... you'll need 6 wires for the hookup.

No.... you're ok since you don't have A/C.

You don't need a Y connection.

You'll need C, G, and Rc from the fan center.

And you'll need W and Rh. (existing two wires that go to TT terminasl)

RH and W to the ignition where they go now.

My only question now is if I use the one and two slots for r and rh and they are jumpered will that matter?
