Changing Robertshaw to Honeywell thermostat

I am changing my robertshaw 8425 for a Honeywell rth7600d. The robert shaw has the following wires: (code-color)
R-red
c-blue
y1-yellow
g-green
o-orange
w2/e - two wires brown and white together
there is also a black wire not in use

im not sure what to do with the w2/e wires or the black one.

the Honeywell 7600 has the following codes and what i was going to hook to them. (Code/color)

c- blue
G- green
y-yellow
o/b-orange
rc
r-red
aux
e
L

Any help on what to do with the w2/e wires and black one would be great.

Connect white to Aux and Brown on E and place a jumper wire between them.

Set function 170 to 7 (heat pump with Aux heat)

Just trying to educate myself here. I'm assuming to install a jumper i just use a small piece of wire that is the same diameter and plug it in with other wires? Also why is it needed? Thanks for all the help

W2 = Aux
E = E
Brown and white were connected to W2/E
Brown and white now connect to Aux and E.

It is possible that brown and white connect to the same terminal in the air handler. If you feel like opening the panel to the air handler you can verify this.

If you have a 20 kw heat strip connect white to Aux and brown to E.
