honeywell tstat old to new

Hello,
I have heat pump with a honeywell lr95329 . I just bought a honeywell rth6580wf and need help with wiring

Old (connected)
x (blue) , e (brown) , r (red) , y (yellow), o (orange), W2 (black), g (green)

My new on (on thr heat pump side) says k, L, AUX/E, G, O, B, C, Y, R, Rc (rc and r are jumped)

From what i read x is common and the rest are normal but E and w2 confuse me. From what i read they control aux heat and emergency heat and that i may just have to plug them both into the aux on the new one. If they control aux heat and emergency heat, how does it know which one to use? Or does it just do both at the same time.

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forums.

aux heat and emergency heat are the same thing at your air handler end.
You can connect both wires to the aux/e terminal.
