Honeywell Prestige AIQ wiring problem

Hi all
I'm having problems with the wiring on my new thermostat. Equipment is all new as well. I have a Frigidair/Noradine single stage heat pump and matching 2 stage gas furnace. Heat pump and furnace wires go to the EIM module. Problem is I only get heat from the heat pump and no cold air in airconditioning mode. Also, no heat from furnace. I have confirmed the furnace works great with an old thermostat. I can also get the heat pump to put out cold air with a separate t stat, so all equipment is functioning correctly. I've setup the tstat to control both stages of the furnace.

Here is my wiring setup

EIM Furnace. H.pump
R. R. R
C. C. C
W. - O
W2. W1. W2
W3. W2. -
G. G. -
Y. Y/Y2. Y
- Y1. -

Configured t stat so heat pump is primary and furnace is aux heat. Not sure how to answer o/b question about being cold or hot.

Thanks, Gary.

Welcome to the forums!! It appears your issue lies with the heat pump reversing
valve. The thermostat needs to be setup so the reversing valve is energized in cooling mode.

If further assistance is needed, more information is needed: model numbers of heat pump, furnace and EIM.

I was unable to find installation manuals or wiring schematics for your heat pump or furnace. I suggest you wire it as follows (heat pump section):

EIM Furnace Heat Pump
R R R
C C C
O/B - O
Aux W1 -
Aux W2 -
G G -
Y Y Y

During set-up you will need to configure it as a heat pump, to energize reversing valve in cooling mode, type of back-up heat and stages, etc. You should have a wire coming from the heat pump that activates the auxiliary heat (furnace) to come on when the heat pump goes into defrost mode (probably E or W2 terminal on condenser defrost board) . That wire would connect to the W1 wire on the furnace.

Thanks but what you suggest is exactly how it's wired. Turns out the problem was with the RH terminal on the EIM. It is jumper ex to RC and R but the screw was backed out all the way from the factory. As soon as I screwed down that terminal everything worked.
