Programming Vision Pro 8000 for stage 2 and 3 to work in unison.

I can not program the Honeywell TH 8320U1008 so that it will make stage 2 and 3 (emrgency heat) to be on at the same time. So if the heat pump can not give me enough heat, I want the heat pump stage 2 on and with stade 3 on. How can I do it???.

Welcome to the forums.

My strong point is wiring..... not programming. Hang tight... the forum pro, Houston, will be able to help you out.

I have been told by instructors at Trane classes that the VisionPro will use E as stage 1 emergency heat and Aux as stage 2 emergency heat on models that have separate Aux and E terminals.

A clampon amp meter on a heat strip leg or a digital thermometer in the supply duct would help prove this.
