Here is that diagram to connect a Honeywell WiFi stat to your oil burner...

Hi Houston,why not just take the 24 vac from the transformer on the boiler? Or am I missing something?

Many of them have the transformer soldered to a control board.

You have a valid point. I should also post a diagram for these controls with a fan center. It would wire similarly with R and C from the fan center substituted for the separate transformer.

As you may know I am not a fan of these or any other type of remote mounted transformers.
