lux psp511lca and taco 571-2 Solved thanks!

Hello, I bought this new lux tstat because I wanted to be able to adjust the temp swing on the thermostat. My honeywell short cycles my boiler frequently.
The Lux manual says it cannot be used with 3 wire zone vales. Is this taco a 3 wire?
THanks

No, that is not a power open / power closed valve.

A Johnson VA7150 would be an example of a power open/ power closed valve actuator. That stat would require an additional relay for a 3 wire power open / power closed valve but you are good...

Thank you. I will install this tonight. I saw those three screws on the valve and thought it was 3 wire, but then see two at my existing tstat so I got confused. Thank you very much.

How long had this been going on? Have you tried new batteries?

I just installed a Lux stat for the same "swing" feature last night. What I didn't realize is that the swing applies to both side of the set temp, so if I set it to 68 with a 1* swing, it turns on at 67, and off at 69.
