Honeywell Thermostat

I installed a Honeywell thermostat about 4 months ago. Everything was fine until last week when the batteries were drained. I have changed them 3x since and can't understand why. If the batteries were fine for 4 months, why are they just now being drained.

Any help is very appreciated. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forums.

You didn't post a model number so it's pretty hard to comment on the model/repair issue but it sounds like it may be a defective thermostat.

I was hoping you posted the model number. I was curious to see if it is a WiFi thermostat or one that requires a C connection.
