Honeywell RTH9580 wi-fi troubeshooting
trying to upgrade to a RTH9580 thermostat and cant get the furnace to start-no heat-my old thermostat had white, red, green and yellow wires-i had an extra black wire and used that as my C wire and hooked up to the common on the furnace and at the thermostat
My new rth9580 powers up and I can start the blower manually, but in the heat cycle nothing happens
Any suggestions would be appreciated..Thanks

If you have electric heat you must configure the new thermostat for electric heat.
The thermostat controls fan in heating.
If you have gas heat it can take 90 to 120 seconds before the blower would turn on.
