nest thermostat wire

Hello,

I have installed nest where i have two different thermostats in my house..

the two new nest do a test heat with a 104f heat coming out of vents, but the aux heat only gives 85f heat from vents.

the cool test worked great but I am just wondering if the wires are incorrect for heat or what.

The aux heat was designed to assist the heat pump in heating the house.... not to supply all the heat. It is very likely to get more heat from the heat pump itself.

The fact that you have heat when in emergency mode shows that the aux is working.

Look at page 19 of http://support-assets.nest.com/image...ller-Guide.pdf. If you change the setup to single fuel then the AUX should operate at the same time as the heat pump. I don't know enough about this other that to say there is this option. The test you went through may bypass these settings as well.
