venstar thermostat with energy Kinetics 2000 and A/C unit
Hi, I was wondering if I can just put the Rc and R wires from the Honeywell to the R connection of the venstar. 24 volts Or is a isolation relay the only way to do this.
The isolation relay wiring is a little fuzzy for me because of the digital manager

The common to run the stat comes from the A/C.
Rc = A/C 24vac
Y = A/C condensor
G = A/C blower
C = A/C common
There should only be two wires from the heat. Polarity is not impotant.
Rh = 24vac Heat
W = Heat
I'm not quite sure I understand your question but with two units you cannot combine the Rc and Rh.

venstar thermostat does not have Rh And Rc only 1 contact
I been reading about using a isolation relay . The boiler wire going to thermostat are Green and blue from digital manager connect to thermostat green to red blue to white then the others are Air handler. I think white and red go to the coil on relay . then green and blue go to contacts 1 nd 3 on relay norm open contacts. then back at thermostat Red connects to C common?

Thanks Pete for your reply last message all messed up. Here goes again . The wires from boiler are green and blue. they connect to thermostat R and W red and white. The wires green and blue from boiler will connect to contacts Norm open 1 & 3. Then thermostat wires connect to the coil on relay . The part I want to be sure of is white goes to w the Red goes to C common along with blue on the stat already? Thanks Tom

I still don't understand why you need the relay but the wiring as you described will work.
Blue and green go to the normally open relay contacts.
One relay coil wire goes to W and the other relay coil wire goes to C.
