Honeywell wifi thermostat, do I need to steal G wire to C to get this working ?
Old Thermostat - White Rodgers 1F78
New thermostat - Honeywell WiFi RTH9580WF
Furnace - Distincions Amana (no clue what model, found manual which says MH95/ACSH96/AMEH96/GCH95/GME95/GCH9 Gas-Fired warm air furnace)
My old thermostat only has 4 wires coming in, and I need C wire for new themostat which I'm lacking.
Found googling that you can steal G wire, move it to C on furnace, and bridge G and Y together, while loosing manual fan ON option, which I never did, always set on Auto.
I also have HRV, which is on separate switch and wiring, not controlled by thermostat.
Whenever HRV is turned on, fan on furnace kicks in, would stealing the G wire mess with HRV and Furnace working together ?

Welcome to the forums.
I see the black HRV lines on G and C.
Can you take a picture of the furnace board zoomed out so I can see the green wire connection?

Thanks, for reply, but I decided to just run a new wire, pretty easy as my furnace is right below thermostat.
Also my run is easy as it's a straight line down and basement is still unfinished.
