3 wire single stage wiring

I'm replacing an old Williamson thermostat on my propane fuels furnace. Wires are: W1 (white), W2 (green) and RH (red). My furnace is a "95% single stage multiposition residential gas furnace" York/ Johnson Controls. The new Honeywell thermostat does not have a W2. Honeywell tells me that I must have a 2-stage furnace, which it doesn't look like I have. Any thoughts? Should I go buy a different thermostat? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

If you can't find the model number of the furnace which should be posted inside on the side wall near the burner.... tells us where the thermostat wires are connected to there. A picture is always helpful too.
