Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here. I am writing to ask if anyone knows if this thermostat wiring is compatible with Nest. I am having difficulties in matching the wires tags to the ones that are on the Nest.
The wires appear to be stranded but I can easily wire nut those on solid
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Cheers!
Matt

Welcome to the forums.
Normally we need to know more than just the wiring colors but in this case I can see what you have. You have a self contained type system like a PTAC. Those units use a 120v thermostat which is what is in your picture. Therefore the nest is not compatible with your system.

Thank you for your reply Pete,
Do you know any way to make it compatible or any "smart" thermostat that can be used with a 120V system?
The actual thermostat is quite old and not very efficient.
Thank you!

The nest could be used with several relays to interface with the system. I'd recommend finding a tech to that.
