Carrier Control module 2-wire thermostat EcoBee Smart Thermostat

I looked at the thread https://www.doityourself.com/forum/t...cobee-3-a.html

and I have a similar situation where I am trying to figure out an extra wire. The control module wiring guide is the same as in the referenced thread.

OLD..................................NEW
Rh -------------> red ---------> Rh
W/W1 --------> white -------> W1
G -------------> green -------> G
Y/Y2 ---------> brown ------- Y1
C -------------> blue -------> C
O/W2/B -----> orange -----> O/B (?)
Y1/W2 ------->yellow -------> ????

This is for a Carrier heat pump and A/C system. Looking to replace the thermostat with the latest ecobee

That is a very good question.
Is that a compressor stage or heat strip control.

That may be a terminal that can be configured either way.

We should probably look that up in the manual.
What is the model number of the old thermostat?
