Ecobee4 Wiring for By-Pass Humidifier

Hello,
I recently re-wired two Lennox furnaces in my home, each with a Lennox Healthy Climate By-Pass Humidifier and a manual controlled humidistat. Model numbers for the humidifers are HCWB3-17 and HCWB3-18. I wired the Ecobee Power Extender Kit (PEK) at each furnace, and rewired my Ecobee thermostats to use the PEK. I reconnected the old C wire (Blue) to the ACC+ terminal on each thermostat. At the furnace, I connected the Blue wire (ACC+) to the disconnected "W" wire for each humidifier, and kept the other humidifier wire attached to "C" terminal on the furnace board. I configured each Ecobee for 1-wire setup (ACC+), and both furnaces appear to be operating as expected. Question: Can I leave each humidistat mounted to furnance as is, or do I need to remove and reconfigure/change the wiring at that location? I've read conflicting information on various threads.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums.

I'm not quite following your wiring but it sounds like it's working.
You can leave the old humidistats in line. Set them for max humidity.
