Welcome to the forums.

The nest claims it will work without a C wire. I have found that to be 50-50 true.
Most furnaces have a location for a C wire and you would need an extra wire.
We'd need a furnace model number or a picture of the wiring connection area.

How-to-insert-pictures.

My boiler

The boiler that is operated by Nest thermostat is made by Burnham model 403B
all the connections are made in the box holding transformer
I can attach picture if needed later on from my computer
Thank you for helping me

Do you have the nest already ?
Give it a try.

The box you are describing sounds like an aquastat. Remove the cover and look inside. At the top is where the thermostat connects. If all you see is T T ..... there will not be a C connection available.
