Smart thermostat for heating
I have a heat only thermostat with no c wire. Since I have an indirect hot water tank and my boiler runs all year will a smart thermostat get power without the c wire?

What thermostat is this?
You need to tell us more information for us to make an educated suggestion.
Is the boiler in fault when this happens? Or is the thermostat just going blank? Is there power at the thermostat subbase? How is the thermostat wired?
