Toilet install
I just redid my bathroom, and the tile guy comes on Sunday, the toilet has been out of the room for about a month..
I haven't yet cleaned the area around the flange under the old where the old toilet was after I pulled it up...
There is some plaster around that area, and also what looks like thin wood to build something up, I am almost afraid to touch it, but the tile guy needs a level floor.
Bathroom is on ground floor, cememt slab. Should I just start chipping away and see what disaster I uncover...I am a bit nervous, since everything in this house seems to be a problem.
Also, how difficult will it be to install a new toilet after the ceramic tile goes down...any advice?? Thanks...
I am an electical whiz, but barely a novie with plumbing...please talk me through baby steps....

Take a picture. Go to www.photobucket.com........then provide a link.
Is the closet flange on top of the finished surface of tile?
That is important to lead you to the next step.
