A few months ago, I noticed that I had very little cold water in my bathroom sink. The faucet is a one lever deal which you turn left for hot, right for cold. Turned all the way to right (cold), there is just a trickle of water. The lines leading to the faucet are plastic flexible tubing, not copper. Also, first thing in the morning, or when the water hasn't been turned on for a period of time, there is a very strong odor to the water that disappears after the water has run for a short time. Any ideas on what happened to my cold water and how to fix it and what might be causing the smell?
For the past two weeks my toilet will flush only when the tank decides it wants to fill up with water. This is the weird part...I can get the tank to fill up if I turn on my bathtub faucet. Could it have anything to do with the water pressure? Is there anything I could do immediately that would last for at least another 2 months( getting bathroom remodeled)?
