Hello, I have a new house and I am about to start finishing the basement. The builder supplied rough-in for the bathroom includes a toilet drain and a shower drain in the concrete floor. However, the genius installed the shower drain directly below a window (about 2'x3')? So, I could move it, or use it where it is. If I were to leave it where it is, I was thinking I could pull the window and replace it with glass blocks and then ceramic tile the shower stall. What would be involved if I were to move it? any ideas, ehat would you do?

Hi, this is similar to other threads, but I can't find an answer that helps me... I have a leaky hot water tap in my bathtub. It’s the old style, with a rubber washer or gasket that I need to replace. The trouble is, I can’t get at the valve stem to remove it. I can take off the tap handle, but the valve is inside a decorative metal cylinder that doesn’t seem to have any way of removal. I can’t remove the stem, not even with needle-nose pliers. I don’t know if the cylinder unscrews or not, and I’d rather not try without knowing. I can’t get in from behind, either, without taking a wall apart. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
