Tub Faucet won't come off.

I am trying to replace the faucet to my bath tub. I have removed the screw on the bottom of the faucet and I have turned it counter clockwise several rotations but it will not come off. It will spin but I am not seeing any forward progress. What should I do?

If you're talking about the tub spout, and you have loosened the Allen set screw, just pull it straight off. It should be on a straight pipe.
The kind of spouts that are screwed onto a threaded fitting don't have a set screw.
Good Luck!

You're a genius! Worked like a charm. I just had to give it a good yank. Thanks for your help.
