Toilet Flange too high
Hello,
I've come across a problem where my flange for the toilet was put in too high (or sub floor is too low, whichever). I've tiled the floor and when I sit the toilet on top of the flange (with the wax ring on), the bowl sits 1/4inch off the ground. After some frustration and asking around, we've tried several types of puddy, fillers, etc., but nothing is strong enough for the bowl and weight of a person. Can someone tell me what I can use to elevate the toilet above the ground and to hold it in place. someone suggested using pennies, but not sure if that would work.
Thanks

These are around $20, and elevate the base of toilet 3/8".
Hole is the same size of closet flange.
Found at your local plumbing supply house.
