Replacement Shower Handles

Does anyone have any idea on where I can look for a good selection of replacement shower handles?

I know the question? Who makes them? No Idea. There is a chance that they were made by "Broadway Brass" but I do not think they are in business anymore. The problem is that they are a combo of brass and crystal and the crystal has broken and the center rod that supported the Crytal is rusting.

I have pics of the handles if anyone thinks they can help.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

On the front of the stems, very front, these should be caps, that will unscrew giving access the the handle screws, once you have the handles off you can take them with you to a plumbing store, they then can help you find new handles.

Thanks

Thanks for the info. I was also thinking that if worse came to worse I could take thme to a machine shop and have some brass turned to replace the glass.

They resemble some of the following:

St. Thomas Creations Series 3030
- http://www.stthomascreations.com/cat...?pid=454&cid=4

Phylrich - a few; just go to the following link and search for 'crystal'

Newport Brass Series 1050, 1060, 1070 & 1080; just go to link and scroll down
- http://www.brasstech.com/newport_index.cfm

There are many more possibilities of smaller 'boutique' type faucet manufacturers that may or may not still be in business.

Some of these others might or might not be the same length &/or width, or they might not connect the same. The possibility exists that you could just swap the ENTIRE handle, but again fit & connection could be a problem.

Best wishes on your hunt!
