help urgent bathtub problem

I do not know what the problem is...a shower was taken this morning in my bathroom and everything worked just fine. Now a few hours later the bathtub is not getting more than a trickle of hot water...all other faucets function normally. No loss of pressure or anything...the cold water in the bathtub also works properly but at the rate this goes it would take days to fill the tub at full blast. Any advice?

What brand and type of faucet do you have? It may be a debris clog in the faucet, but more likely you may need to replace a cartridge.
Need more info.

If you can't see any brand name on it, is it a single-handle? Dual handle?

It is dual. One for hot one for cold.

Probably debris clogging the hot side.
Turn OFF the main water supply to your house, OR the cold water supply to your water heater (will turn off hot water only).
Remove the handle (may have to pop cap off of retaining screw on end), and unscrew the valve out counter-clockwise.
Ream the hole of the hot side out with a piece of stiff wire (clothes hanger, etc.) and turn the water back on briefly to flush it out, and then turn the water back off.
Re-install the valve and the handle, and turn the water back on.
Good luck!
