Speakman Shower/Tub Diverter

I have a Speakman diverter which I cannot locate a replacement for. On the stem there are portals that once the stem is drawn back channels the water to the shower. Between the stem and the portals is a gasket which has since degenerated. This creates an opening that allows water to run down the faucet loosing pressure to shower.

Does anyone know of Speakman replacement parts and avilability? This is an old diverter at least 18 yrs.

Repair

I found a repair for the diverter. The unit is housed in an estucheon which needs to be removed with a pipe wrench. Once at the diverter you need a 19mm deep set wrench to remove the diverter itself.

Once you have the unit out there is a washer that is at the end of the stem which when fully down closes the water off to the shower i.e. diverts it to the tub. When you fully open it the back of this washer housing backs into a gasket which then diverts the water to the shower. This gasket was broken on my setup. It is the same size as a no.41 o ring but is not soft rubber so that does not work. Instead take plumbing teflon tape. Wrap in layers on the back of the washer housing to create a new reverse gasket. do not wrap too much as you won't get the unit back into the assembly.

this fix worked for me as I don't move it away from the shower setting too often.
