Bathtub wont hold water
My bath tub wont hold water. I flip the drain up but it still wont hold. I pulled the stopper or whatever you want to call it and looked at it to see if it was broke. Everything looked in good shape that I could tell from. Nothing broke. I just don't know how to fix it. Does look hard. Maybe the plug has come up too far and it hasn't seated far enough back down so the bathtub to hold water. I would like to take a warm bath eveynow and then.

Sounds like the stopper barrel may be being held up by gunk, etc.
Pour some enzyme-based drain cleaner like DrainCare down the overflow pipe and drain and let it sit overnight, and then flush the tub drain with hot water, and see if that doesn't solve the problem.
