Toilet vent

We are replacing a 30 year old toilet with the Toto Drake ADA.
We feel that the original vent which is 1 1/2 inches is not the correct size.
Can you advise me what code is on this? I called the manuf. but they state to go according to code. Thank You!

What code you follow there?

Maybe someone else will come along that will know the code soon.

Call your Building Inspcetion Department for local code, permit and inspection requirements.
If you're going to have to install a larger vent stack, I would go with at least 3".
Good luck!
