Dripping Kitchen Faucet(Cold Water Only)
My Delta cartridge kitchen faucet had a leak in the base. I replaced the O-rings, value seat, etc using the Delta faucet replacement kit. Well it stopped the leak in the base but when I turned the water back on - the cold water leaks from the spout. The hot water when turned on does not leak from the spout. Any suggestions?

Is this a Delta ball faucet? If so, did you tighten the adjusting ring?

Yes and I think so. I replaced everything with the new one in the kit and returned them in the order I took them off(per the pictures on the digital camera) and the only thing I remember tightening is the hardward that houses all the parts I replaced and this was done last before I turned the water back on. I am missing something? Please advise.

Turn the water off and take it back apart.
Make sure that the seats and springs are set properly. When everything else is fitted back together (except the handle), the plastic ring inside the dome cap can be adjusted with the little tool with the two tabs on it that comes with a Delta repair kit. (KEEP that little tool.)
Turn the water on and turn the adjusting ring clockwise (with the two tabs) to tighten it, but not so tight as to cause it to be hard to operate or wear the parts prematurely. Just tight enough to prevent it from leaking.
Good luck!

Followed your instructions this morning and thank you so much for your expertise-my problem is resolved and the faucet operates the way it is supposed to without a drip or leak problem. You are wonderful. Kudos to you. I really appreciate the advice.
