Bathroom Code--Toilet

What a great site! I will be here often. Thanks to all of those willing to share their experiences and expertise.

I am about to embark on remodeling my bathroom. I just bought the house, and the previous owner did a half-a** job on a remodel before me. So this will be fun.

Anyway, does anyone know what the code is for the distance from the edge of the vanity/sink to the centerline of the toilet? Is it 24"?

Thanks

Sure do and welcome to Doityourself.com

A toilet requires 30" thats 15 " from center of toilet in both directions. Once you have this then you can set vanity in the space left over.

You being from Oregon, so I'm I, so what I tell you is from the codes we use here in Oregon, more question, ask over in the plumbing forum.
