Kid flushed something down toilet, what do I do?
My 3 year-old son flushed an empy prescription pill bottle down the toilet this morning. The bottle was probably 3" long, 1" in diameter. So far the toilet has not backed up with just flushing water. What should I do about this? What are the chances it will make it out to the sewer with no problems? Any help is appreciated.

If the bottle made it past the toilets internal trap it will probably not cause a problem. You won't notice a problem until paper is flushed as the water will find a way around it. If it starts backing up you can try a Closet auger or remove the toilet and clear it from the bottom. Closet augers can be rented and would probably break up the plastic bottle. Good luck.
