New kitchen sink not flush with counter
#1

I just had a plumber install a new sink, but it is not flush with the counter.
You can kind of make it out in this photo. The corners are flush, but not the middle (almost like it's warped):
The plumber says that's as good as it gets, and that if he uses additional clamps, it could crack the granite counter.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

You can see the globs of putty or whatever he used under the rim. The sink should have set flush before he did anything. He may have dropped it and bowed the front edge. I would not accept the job. His comment about "any more clips" is bull. He should only need the ones that came with the sink. Usually 4 across the front and back and one in the middle of the two sides. He's trying to hide something. Good luck.
The clips are only to hold the sink down into the putty or silicone. They are not made to crank a crooked sink down.

26 must be a newbie. I am used to the standard 22x33's that are usually installed. Guess it must be time to let your fingers do the website thing. Sorry I can't help more than that.
