toilet tank overflow

My toilet tank overflowes.
The tank holds water, there are no cracks in the tank. It will overflow from the tank. Sometimes it won't overflow and sometimes it will. What should I do?

You need to change the fill valve. I would recommend you install a Fluidmaster 400A. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Available at most hardware or major retailers like Home Depot.

Fluidmaster 400A fill valves are only about $6 bucks at a big box, and come with illustrated, easy installation instructions.
Good luck!
