Extending Faucet Hoses
I just received a new Grohe Ectos faucet and the hoses (~12") are part of the faucet. I'm not sure if these are going to reach my supply lines (will know tonight when I get home). Can these compression fitting type hoses be extended ? Can the hoses be removed from the faucet and replaced with longer ones ? I'd hate to have to elbow up the copper pipes already coming through the back of my brand new vanity cabinet.

Just measure the distance from the shut-off valves to the faucet line connections, and get the right length of stainless steel flex connectors.
They come in a variety of lengths, have rubber seals on both ends, and don't need anything such as teflon tape or anything else to seal the connections.
Good Luck!

I think my post may have been misunderstood. The Grohe faucet I purchased has 13" hoses attached as part of the faucet. It does not appear they can be removed. I wanted to know if there are hose extensions available. My supply pipes come into the cabinet pretty low and I need another 6" or so.

Must have been my Texas/Carolina accent. LOL
Get short 3/8" stainless steel flex connector hoses made for the purpose (connecting pipe valves and faucets), and connect the shut-off valves to the supply hoses on the faucet with 3/8" brass compression fittings between the hoses on the faucet and the valves (assuming that the faucet hoses are 3/8").
You don't need any plumber's tape or putty. Just use a backup wrench on the fittings.
Good luck!
