A dishwasher is supposed to have a dedicated 15 amp (14/2-with-ground wire) electrical circuit, but if you're having to run new wiring for it, I recommend going ahead with a 20 amp (12/2-with-ground wire) in case anyone ever wanted to install a heavy-duty dishwasher. Install a regular 3-prong double receptacle in the wall behind the dw to plug it into. You'll have to put a 3-prong male plug onto the dw power cord.
Supply: It needs a T onto the hot water (only) line under the sink, with it's own shut-off valve from that and a dishwasher flex supply line from the shut-off valve to the dishwasher.
Drain: The drain hose needs to be looped over the top of the dishwasher to an air gap (if required by local code), and then connected to a dishwasher sink tailpiece or the dw connection on a disposal (don't forget to remove the knock-out plug on the disposal).
If the flooring is ever raised (tile or wood) in front of the dishwasher, the dishwasher will be trapped under the cabinet base. The dishwasher and cabinet must be raised to the height of the finished flooring, if adding tile or wood flooring in front of it.
Good luck!
Mike
