sealing bottom of toilet bowl to tile floor

I am ready to set the toilet bowl on tile and would like to know what I can apply to the base of the bowl to seal to tile floor? Would I use a silicone,reg tub and tile caulk,or I have seen something that looks like a cement that plumbers use.Thanks

By cement, I am thinking Grout. Many times the same color grout is used to match the color of the floor. The other products will work. I never seal all the way around the toilet. I leave the back open in case of a wax ring failure. Some disagree but I would rather see the water come from under the toilet than in the crawl later or after it made its way under the tile to the hall. The back of the toilet bowl is not seen anyways so I see no need to seal it. Good luck.

Replace shower stems

Good Morning.Problem: I need to replace stems in a fiberglass single piece shower surround. It seems that the original installer did not think that some day stems may have to be pulled. The diam. of the holes in the surround that the stems come out of, are just big enough for the stems, and not a socket to remove the stem. My question is what kind of a cutting tool should I use to enlarge the hole without cracking the fiberglass. I will have to cut around the stem. As always, thanks in advance

Sewage Ejectors

In your opinion which sewage ejector/macerator system is reall the best ,im putting afull bath in my basement and i only want to do this once, I do not want a sytem that ill have to babysit, the sani flo sytem seem ok but is it really strong enough to handle averyday use and can its plumbing and boxes be concealed so you do not have to look at it. what do you think ,ill be pumping about 6 ft vertically and 6 ft horizontally.
