The fabricator undermounted our granite composite sink under our granite. They cut out the cabinet support(which I made them fix by strengthening the corners), then they drilled a 2x4 to each side wall of the cabinet. They then placed the sink on top of the 2x's and lined it up to the cabinet height using shims. They then siliconed and place the counter on top. Is this normal? I thought they were supposed to use clips? I would not have let them do this if I were there at time, but could not be there because of scheduling mistake they made. Regardless, I have not paid them 100% and they are coming back tonight. Should I maked them somehow try to drill clips at this point? I really don't feel good about some shims and silicone holding the sink or is this normal?

I would greatly appreciate any help. I have an older style (50's/60's) bath/shower. Separate hot and cold handles with the shower handle between the hot and cold. I started getting a leak and decided to replace the inside of the handles, the threaded components and washers. Since that time, I have very little water pressure from the hot water. The cold water seems fine. I only get a drip of hot water from the bath faucet and from the shower. How do I restore water pressure? Did I replace things incorrectly? Should there be good water pressure when the handles are removed (With only the pipes protruding)? What would the problems and solutions be for these issues? I only have one bath and desperately require assistance. Thank you in advance.
