Flange problem needs some help
I have read the other flange threads but stull have a question. i nade the error of not extending my flange up when i tiled the bathroom floor is there some form of extender that i can get now that it si finished? i tried to double the waxring which i read in a diffrent thread bit when i got it all set and flushed it dumped water out the bottom all over the floor?

Yes. They make flange extenders in different thicknesses. They have an adhesive on one side to seal to the origininal flange. Be SURE to use screws through the provided holes to secure it to the existing flange and the floor. Good luck.

Thank you. IU saw an odd flage at a local truevalue store and was wondering if it will work. it is white PVC and on the bottom bart is a rubber gasket that has screws on top of the flange. my guess is that one it is installed you tighten the screws and it seals the flange / pipe extention off inside of the waste pipe to eliminate leakage. would that be a better choice? not had to much experience with plumming toilets b4.

Go to the link below and the last set of boxes on the bottom of the page, 3rd from the left, is an extender flange. They call it a spacer ring.
