Question Porcelain Chip Repair - Sink

I had a coffee cup fall out of the cabinet above the sink this morning. Thank God the cup did not break, instead, it chipped a 4" X 1" chunk out of the kitchen sink. Right on the edge of the divider between the two basins. Is it possible to repair DIY, or should I call a pro? OR, am I SOL and need to replace the whole thing. I need to give up drinking in the morning .... coffee that is.

That is an awful long piece of porcelain.

It would be totally up to you, cast iron sinks aren't exactly cheap, but the expense to repair might just convince you to buy maybe a stainless steel or composite sink.
