shower body no water?

hey guys . i have a shower on the second floor the body was leaking sometime ago. i cut out the sheet rock and replaced the shower body. 3 valve body, it worked fine, it hasn't been used up there now for about 2yrs.
we had some guests over i told then to use the upstairs shower, and guess what ....no water flow. comes out in droplets, i unscrewed the shower head no clogs, took out the inserts in the faucets, water just trickles out. all valves going upstairs have water, sink, bowl etc. any idea's would help.i'm thinking maybe shower body bad has too be right? and all valves in basement are on

thanks
sal

Sounds like dirt/debri in the valve body itself. I would take the stems out and coordinate someone downstairs and slowly turn the water on to use force to shoot the dirt out.

If it is galvanized piping......that is a whole other story about fixing the problem.
