This problem began when I added a bathroom. I instructed the plumber to make sure he runs the hot water line from the water heater and not from the orginal bathroom. When I first tried to use the shower no hot water, that's when I found out there were 2 cold water lines, got that fixed, at least it appeared that way. Then water pressure to high on one of the lines, installed regulator, so things worked alright for a few years. I decided to change from shower only to tub/shower set up. A not so good plumber installed the tub/shower fixture and tub. I had a leak in the wall, had it fixed from the outside of the house so as not to mess up new tile. Now the intermittent problem: Occasionally in the summer hot water comes into the toilet, what in the world causes this? I have quizzed many plumbers and no one really could say. There are no other noticable problems in this bathroom. The tub/shower seems to work fine, although when the shower diverter is on the tub faucet drips water. Someone point me in the right direction, everyone says they have never heard such a thing!

Help, I have a Delta sngl. Ball shower Fact, Devertr on tub spout. I'm trying to balance the hot and cold water, But don't know what controles the water flow,. Any help is Apperciated, Thanks.
