Device to turn a bath faucet into temp shower?
Hey everyone, I took a look to see if anything like this has been posted before but couldnt find anything.
The place where I rent has only a single bathroom and it has a bathtub. No shower. My wife has recently broken two vertebrae in her back and a bath is not an option. I'm just wondering if there is any device on the market that you can attach to the output on your Bath faucet and temporarily turn it into a shower as it would be much easier for her. I dont want to get into re-doing the plumping fixtures, mainly cuz it's not my place..
I found this item on a website but A) I think it still requires plumbing changes and B) it's pretty damn pricey..
Any suggestions?

Thanks again for any help

Most large home centers should have a bathtub spout with a side outlet that you can attach a hand spray shower to. That way you should be able to rig up some way to hold the hand spray up in the air or at least she would be able to use the handheld for showering. Most bathtub spouts just screw on or are held in place using a rubber O ring that fits over copper pipe.
