Toilet & Drain Problems
Over the past few months, I've noticed that when I leave the house for a few days or so, there's a mild sewer smell upon my return. What are the possible causes?

quickfix, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
If you have any floor drains, could be that the trap has gone dry. Could be a leaking wax seal on a toilet allowing sewer gas to enter the house. Dry trap on washing machine drain. You may get used to the smell while you are there if it is slight. Then when you return from being away it is more noticeable. If you do not find it, the next time you are going to be gone, make sure all the sink and tub traps have water run into them before you leave. Pour some water down the washer drain also. Good luck.
