Kitchen faucet sprayer won't shut off
I have a single handle kitchen faucet made by Moen. From time to time when I use the sprayer it stays on even after I release the trigger. This is not the type that pulls out of the faucet arm. It is a separate hose that pulls out from one of the holes in the sink. I’ve taken it apart and cleaned everything but it still happens. I noticed that it happens more often while using the cold water rather than the hot. Any suggestions.

You may have a bad spring in the sprayer which allows it to stay on. I have included the web address and toll free phone number to Moen. Youmay find your faucet and a drawing of parts that can go bad. Moen also gives a Lifetime warranty on many of their products. You MAY get a new sprayer free. Good luck.

I took the sprayer head apart and gave the spring a little stretch. It seems to have helped. If that doesn't do it, I've got the phone number you provided for Moen.
